This was a unique project undertaken by MKE for a local brewery facing a critical challenge with a century-old, bespoke piece of equipment crucial to their production process.
The Challenge
Our client came to us with a unique problem - they possessed a bespoke, one-of-a-kind piece of equipment that had been an integral part of their production for over a hundred years that needed an upgrade. Their brewery has been operating in the UK since 1698, making it one of the oldest producing breweries in the country and finding a replacement was not going to be easy. The refurbishment was imperative for the brewery’s continued operations.
The Solution
MKE’s expert team took on the challenge by carefully stripping the historic system down to its bare components. This process involved a comprehensive examination of each part to assess its condition and identify areas that required restoration. The team then executed a thorough cleaning and restoration process to bring each component back to its optimal state. With precision and care, the team reassembled the equipment, ensuring it returned to its original functioning state.
